This spring, the SIMCenter celebrates the graduation of two of its students, James Mack and MJ Yatsko.

James Mack

After successfully defending his thesis, "Calibration of Automotive Aftertreatment Models through Co-Simulation with MATLAB Optimization Routines," James Mack will earn his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering on May 8th. James' research involves using commercially available software to develop models for autmotive catalytic converters and gasonline particulate filters. After graduation, he will start work at General Motor's Mildord Proving Grounds, where he will be working as a powertrain calibration validation engineer.
