Welcome to the Team!

The SIMCenter is excited to welcome its new assistant director, Jean Lanier.

With 20 years at The Ohio State University, Lanier is a well-rounded university administrative leader. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication analysis and practice and her master’s degree in public policy and management from The Ohio State University and has held various administrative positions within the university since 2001.

Lanier’s past positions have included division administrator for Surgical Oncology, department manager for the Department of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies, HR/Fiscal administrator for The College of Math and Physical Sciences, personnel manager for The Department of Chemistry, and HR/Fiscal associate for The Division of Hematology and Oncology.
